All the kids are most welcome to join the event along with their parents as audience and cheerleaders even though not participating in any activity.

    Registration price per child -
    $6 per contest/performance
    $10 for 2 contests
    $15 for 3 or more contests.

Contest Guidelines 
( All the contests are based on Ramayana)​

Coloring (3-5 years) 
  • Time Limit: 30 mins
  • Challenge: Color Ramayana based coloring page. Coloring pages and coloring materials will be provided.
Fancy Dress (3-5 years) 
  • Time Limit: 1 min
  • Challenge: Dress as any of the characters from Ramayana Pastimes, come on stage and introduce yourself with your name and name of the character as dressed. Judging will be done based on the chosen costume only.
Art Contest (6-8 years & 9-11 years) 
  • Time Limit: 30 mins
  • Challenge: Only one out of these three themes will be given for the contest. Drawing sheets, pencils, and coloring materials will be provided.

Lego Contest (6-8 ears & 9-11 years)
  • Time Limit: 30 mins
  • Challenge: The contestants have to build the following themes with Lego bricks. Lego bricks will be provided.
         6-8 years-                   9-11 years-
         Rama's Hut                  Ravana's Airplane (Pushpaka Vimana)                         
Talent Show (6-8 years and 9-12 years) - 
Participate as a solo performer or in a group of 2 to 3 kids

  • Time Limit: 2 mins
  • Challenge: (Perform ONLY ONE of the following: theme has to be based on Ramayana Pastimes)
  • Perform a dance based on any of the Ramayana Pastimes (please send music to [email protected] by May 7th) 
  • Sing a Bhajan based on Ramayana
  • Tell a story or Enact a skit based on Ramayana

​Group Performance (any age group & any number of kids per group)
  • Time Limit: 3 mins
  • Perform a dance based on any of the Ramayana Pastimes (please send music to [email protected] by May 7th) 
  • Sing a Bhajan based on Ramayana
  • Enact a skit or drama based on Ramayana

Ramayana Quiz (7-15 years)
  • Challenge: Written Quiz based on Ramayana theme will be conducted among the participants individually for screening. After selection of certain number of kids as per the written screening, the teams will be chosen to participate in the Quiz contest.
